Peel the potatoes and cut them into 1 cm cubes. Remove the chicken from the bone and cut it into 1 cm cubes as well.
Chop the onion into small pieces. Peel the carrot and chop it into small triangles.
Heat the pot over high heat and add the butter. Allow the butter to melt, then add the chopped onion. Fry it for a couple of minutes, and then add the chopped carrots. Reduce the heat to medium and cook until the carrots become soft.
Add the broth and let it come to a boil.
Add the chicken, potatoes, and spices (oregano, dill, paprika, pepper, salt, and chili). Let it come to a boil, and then reduce the heat to low and cook for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, add a bay leaf, taste to check if there are enough spices for your liking, and continue to cook for an additional 5-7 minutes.
