Lazy Cake recipe

Discover the traditional Lithuanian dessert known as lazy cake or tinginys. This no-bake treat requires only four ingredients and is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Ingredients
  

  • 397 g condensed milk can
  • 2 tsp cacao
  • 340-390 g of tea biscuits
  • 170 g butter

Instructions
 

  • Crush the biscuits into small pieces using your hands and set them aside.
  • Melt the butter over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and add the condensed milk. Stir well.
  • Turn off the heat and add the cocoa. Mix thoroughly.
  • Pour the condensed milk mixture over the biscuits and mix it together.
  • Transfer the mixture into a chosen tray, wrap it in plastic wrap, and press down slightly to ensure everything combines well.
  • Place it in the fridge and let it chill for 4 hours or preferably overnight.
